Her work focuses on the diagnosis and management of malignant and non-malignant haematology, specifically inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. She is trained as a Senior BMT (Bone Marrow Transplant) Fellow as an attending physician from SWBMT (UK) which is one of the leading BMT centres in UK and fully accredited by JACIE (The Joint Accreditation Committee ISCT-Europe & EBMT) and ASBMT (American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation).
With a vast experience of clinical association and clinical research, both domestically as well as with her post-graduation school in the University Hospital Wales, Cardiff, UK, she is presently working for the Health Department of the Punjab Government as Associate Professor and also rendering clinical services in malignant and non-malignant haematology at National Hospital and Medical Center, Lahore, Pakistan ( https://nationalhospital.org/Doctors/Details/103 ). Her major research projects were focused on molecular haematology and cytogenetic analysis including a project titled “The Prevalence of JAK2 Mutation in Idiopathic Myelofibrosis” (at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, Rawalpindi, Pakistan) and “Genetic, Phenotypic and Clinical Correlation of Haemophilia A in Pakistani Population” (at University Hospital Wales, Cardiff, UK) and Quality of life in post - transplant patients of multiple myeloma.
